Express is seeking a SALES MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER for a top client in Valdosta, Ga.
This opportunity is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail or sales environment and enjoys developing teams, driving performance, and delivering excellent customer service.
Sales Manager Requirements:
- Coach and support the sales team to elevate performance and results
- Partner with the Director and Manager to recruit, hire, and onboard top talent
- Assist in managing up to 10 employees
- Maintain all employee and sales records in an organized and accurate manner
- Serve as a liaison between leadership and team members, handling discrepancies with discretion
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent in-store and online sales service
- Complete and review job estimates accurately and efficiently
- Maintain social media presence and brand awareness
- Stay knowledgeable on product lines, installation products, and techniques
- Build strong relationships with customers, builders, designers, and coworkers
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency with a “make-it-happen” mindset
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
Schedule & Pay:
Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Monday–Friday, 8:40 AM – 5:40 PM
Starting Pay: $12.00–$17.00 per hour (based on experience)
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Assistant Management, Retail Management, or HR (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Management (preferred, not required)
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Strong communication (written, verbal, and technical)
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Flexible and comfortable working with diverse teams and personalities
