Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking an accounts payable specialist for a pet and garden supply company. Job duties may include one or more areas of A/P including:
- Transaction processing of direct and indirect spend
- Travel and expense
- Vendor payment disbursements
- Problem resolution
- Reviewing invoices and statements, verify information, determine accounts, code transactions
- Posting transactions to general ledger
- Verifying accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- 2+ years of A/P experience
- Experience working with large customer base and high volume of transactions
- Self-starter and goal-oriented
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to change priorities
- Metric driven team environment with independent ownership
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Excellent customer service
- Positive attitude
Other details:
- Training will be in office (about 2 weeks) and then role would be work from home (can work in the office if/when needed)
- Pay rate is $19.40/hr. to start
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am/8am - 4:30pm/5pm
- Position is temp to hire
