Job Full Description

Our client, a well-established and growing precision manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations and support a high-performing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing employees while driving quality, safety, and operational excellence.

This position partners closely with the Manufacturing Manager to ensure production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and employees have the tools and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing technicians through regular feedback, performance discussions, and goal setting.
  • Coordinate work assignments and production priorities to maximize workflow and productivity.
  • Identify operational issues, implement immediate solutions, and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to quality standards and established work instructions.
  • Coordinate training initiatives and maintain accurate employee training records.
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to support production, communication, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive manufacturing environment.
  • Support overtime needs and assist with additional operational responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following are highly encouraged to apply:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Manufacturing processes and calibration.
  • TIG welding, laser welding, soldering, or clean room manufacturing.
  • Production documentation, labor tracking, and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience supervising technical manufacturing operations involving precision assembly, fabrication, or calibration is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods throughout the day.
  • Frequent use of stairs.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
