Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production Operators for a long-term opportunity with a growing manufacturer. If you enjoy hands-on work, have great attention to detail, and like working with electronics or small components, this could be the perfect fit.
Production Operator
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $18.00/hour
- Hours: Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30 minute break)
- Overtime available on Fridays when business needs require it (mandatory when scheduled)
What You'll Do
As a Production Operator, you'll work as part of a collaborative team to assemble high-quality electronic products from start to finish. Team members rotate between different assembly stations, allowing you to build new skills while contributing to the entire manufacturing process.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assemble products and subassemblies following detailed work instructions.
- Perform precision hand soldering and wire connections.
- Program, test, troubleshoot, and inspect finished products.
- Package completed products for shipment.
- Use small hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
- Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
- Keep workstations clean and organized using 5S practices.
- Assist with stocking materials and maintaining inventory in the assembly area.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Experience using small hand tools.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read assembly drawings or basic schematics is a plus.
- Previous soldering or electronics assembly experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit for up to 10-hour shifts.
- Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
- Frequently bend, twist, push, and pull materials.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all workplace safety procedures.
