Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production Operators for a long-term opportunity with a growing manufacturer. If you enjoy hands-on work, have great attention to detail, and like working with electronics or small components, this could be the perfect fit.

Production Operator

Schedule & Pay

  • Pay: $18.00/hour
  • Hours: Tuesday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30 minute break)
  • Overtime available on Fridays when business needs require it (mandatory when scheduled)

What You'll Do

As a Production Operator, you'll work as part of a collaborative team to assemble high-quality electronic products from start to finish. Team members rotate between different assembly stations, allowing you to build new skills while contributing to the entire manufacturing process.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Assemble products and subassemblies following detailed work instructions.
  • Perform precision hand soldering and wire connections.
  • Program, test, troubleshoot, and inspect finished products.
  • Package completed products for shipment.
  • Use small hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized using 5S practices.
  • Assist with stocking materials and maintaining inventory in the assembly area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings or basic schematics is a plus.
  • Previous soldering or electronics assembly experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand or sit for up to 10-hour shifts.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
  • Frequently bend, twist, push, and pull materials.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all workplace safety procedures.
