We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Clerk to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse and food production environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in keeping things organized, and can work efficiently while following safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Clerk, you will help keep warehouse operations running smoothly by assisting with inventory, shipments, organization, and general warehouse support.
Specific Duties:
- Organize and maintain ingredients according to the Color Code Program
- Maintain organized pallets throughout the warehouse
- Operate manual and/or electric pallet jacks
- Load and unload trucks
- Stage products for shipment and accurately record lot numbers
- Complete required inventory reports and logs
- Record findings accurately on designated paperwork
- Assist with wrapping and palletizing products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse
- Communicate effectively with Production Leads
- Follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Ability to safely and properly lift heavy materials
- Comfortable operating or learning to operate a pallet jack
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to follow strict sanitation and food safety procedures
Important Working Conditions
This is a physically demanding warehouse position involving frequent lifting, bending, standing, and movement.
The role also involves regularly working in a freezer environment maintained at approximately -20°C. Gloves and jackets are provided, but associates should be prepared to wear layers underneath their protective gear because they will frequently move in and out of the freezer.
The position is primarily warehouse-based, but you may occasionally enter a clean room and must follow all required food safety and sanitation procedures.
Clean Room Requirements
Because this is a food production environment, strict cleanliness standards must be followed. When entering the clean room:
- Hair nets and beard nets must be worn
- No jewelry, including watches, earrings, or rings
- No fake eyelashes
- No nail polish or artificial/fake nails
- Basic hairstyles are preferred to accommodate hair nets
- Bobby pins, small clips, and similar accessories are not permitted
