Refrigeration Technician

Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay: DOE
Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Refrigeration Technician to maintain and repair industrial refrigeration systems. If you’re skilled in troubleshooting and working with complex equipment, this is a great opportunity to put your expertise to work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair Anhydrous Ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems
- Troubleshoot compressors, condensers, pumps, motors, valves, and controls
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
- Detect and repair refrigerant leaks
- Service flash freezers and warehouse freezers
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate service records
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (trade school preferred)
- 4+ years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience
- Knowledge of refrigeration, pneumatic, and electrical control systems
- Valid driver’s license and required certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors around electrical systems and equipment gases
