Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician.
This role primarily supports equipment operation and facility maintenance, including assistance with mechanical systems and building infrastructure. This is a hands-on position suited for someone who enjoys variety and working independently.
Location: Crystal Lake, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $20–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on machines and equipment
- Assist with installation, repair, and basic troubleshooting
- Replace lighting and perform general facility maintenance
- Identify mechanical or electrical issues and take corrective action
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Document maintenance activities and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance, or similar role
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
