Our client located in Crystal Lake, is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join their team. A positive, professional attitude is essential. This role plays a key part in supporting customers, processing orders, resolving issues, and serving as a communication link between sales, project management, purchasing, production, and customers. The environment can be fast-paced, so the ability to adapt is important. This position offers excellent long-term stability.
Pay: $22–$24 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday | Approx. 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, documentation requests, and order-related communication
- Enter and process sales orders in Sage, create and maintain digital and physical order files, and distribute paperwork to internal teams
- Coordinate with sales, project management, purchasing, and production to support order flow and customer needs
- Upload, download, and manage documents through customer and vendor portals; assist with reporting and data entry
- Provide backup support for purchasing, reception, marketing assistance, and general office tasks
Customer Service Representative Qualifications:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused
