Inside Sales Representative – Decking & Outdoor Living Products
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a well-established supplier in the decking and outdoor living industry to find a motivated Inside Sales Representative.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing solutions, and supporting customers from quote to close.
Pay: 20/hr
Location: Spring Grove, IL
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls and customer inquiries
- Generate and qualify leads through follow-up calls and email outreach
- Build long-term relationships with contractors, builders, distributors, retailers, and homeowners
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and quotations
- Process customer orders and coordinate with operations and logistics teams
- Recommend decking and outdoor living solutions tailored to customer needs
- Follow up on quotes to close sales opportunities
- Maintain customer and sales activity records in a CRM system
- Support outside sales representatives and regional sales managers
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, and pricing
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of inside sales, customer service, or building materials experience is a PLUS
- Knowledge of decking, lumber, construction materials, or outdoor living products is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Organized, detail-oriented, and sales-driven
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with estimating, takeoffs, or blueprint reading is a plus
- Bilingual skills are a plus
