Job Title: Purchasing Clerk (Administrative Support)
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a well-established manufacturing organization in the Crystal Lake / North Kane County area in their search for a Purchasing Clerk. This role provides administrative support to the purchasing team by maintaining records, coordinating supplier communication, and supporting daily purchasing operations.
Pay Rate/Schedule
$20.00 – $21.28/hour
Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
Job Duties Include:
- Entering and maintaining purchase orders, supplier data, and pricing
- Tracking order confirmations and delivery schedules
- Communicating with suppliers regarding routine inquiries
- Assisting with invoice reconciliation
- Preparing Excel spreadsheets and purchasing reports
- Coordinating with warehouse, accounting, and operations teams
- Supporting general office and departmental administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
