Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday (1st Shift – 6am-2:30pm)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to support daily operations in a paint manufacturing and distribution environment. This role involves material handling, order fulfillment, and assisting with shipping processes, including UPS orders.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and move paint products, stains, and related materials
- Operate sit-down forklift and stand-up reach truck safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks
- Pick and prepare orders using RF scan guns
- Maintain accurate inventory and order tracking
- Assist with material distribution and warehouse organization
- Support UPS shipping processes as a backup
- Perform basic clerical tasks related to shipping and order processing
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Experience operating sit-down forklift and reach truck required
- Familiarity with scan guns and warehouse systems
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic clerical or shipping experience (UPS/FedEx) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
