Job Title: Purchasing Clerk (Administrative Support)

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.28/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

Summary
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a well-established manufacturing organization in the Crystal Lake area in their search for a Purchasing Clerk. This role provides administrative support to the purchasing team by maintaining records, coordinating supplier communication, and supporting daily purchasing operations in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain purchase orders, supplier data, and pricing
- Track order confirmations and delivery schedules
- Communicate with suppliers regarding routine inquiries
- Assist with invoice reconciliation
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets and purchasing reports
- Coordinate with warehouse, accounting, and operations teams
- Support general office and departmental administrative tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
