Schedule/Shift: 5AM-3:30PM/1st shift

Summary:
This position supports the assembly and finishing of industrial equipment distributed worldwide. The Liquid Spray Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality finishes, and ensuring consistent, defect-free coatings in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and applying fillers to ensure proper paint adhesion
- Mix and apply two-component liquid paints using spray equipment
- Inspect finishes using mill thickness gauges and gloss meters to ensure quality standards
- Operate cranes and coat unusually shaped objects under production pressure
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of spray booths and spray guns
Qualifications:
- Experience with liquid spray painting and surface preparation techniques
- Ability to diagnose finish defects and adjust processes accordingly
- Familiarity with mill thickness gauges, gloss meters, and spray equipment
- Comfortable working in high-heat environments exceeding 95°F
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required safety equipment
