Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate
City and State: Marengo, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
Support daily warehouse operations by managing inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are properly handled and delivered throughout the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, dollies, and manual equipment while ensuring accuracy of counts and materials
- Receive, stock, and process materials in the system and deliver items to appropriate departments
- Pack, label, and prepare items for shipment, including documentation and routing to dock area
- Maintain packaging supplies and communicate inventory discrepancies or issues to appropriate teams
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred (forklift experience not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read instructions and perform basic math calculations
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment
