Job Title: Pallet Sorter
City and State: Richmond, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:45 PM
Employment Type: Temporary
Summary:
The Pallet Sorter is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining wooden pallets using hand and power tools. This role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect wooden pallets for damage and determine necessary repairs
- Repair pallets using hand tools and power tools
- Lift, move, and stack pallets throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Meet daily production and quality goals
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with hand tools and/or power tools
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
