Pay Rate: $20 (Increase based on performance @ 90 Days)
Schedule/Shift: 8am-4pm M-F
Employment Type: Temp (Temp to hire for the right candidate)
Summary:
The Manufacturing Associate supports the production of utility-scale solar electrical equipment through electronic assembly, material handling, inventory management, and general manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude who is committed to producing high-quality work in a team-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and electronic components following engineering drawings and work instructions
- Install wiring, terminals, bus bars, switches, breakers, and related hardware
- Perform light mechanical assembly using hand and power tools while maintaining quality standards
- Pick, stage, and manage materials while supporting inventory control and receiving processes
- Inspect finished assemblies and package products for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized workspace
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks (standing, bending, etc.)
