Job Title: MIG Welder / Fabricator
City and State: Huntley, IL
Pay Rate: $21.00–$23.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule/Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time (Evaluation-to-Hire)
Summary:
Join a fast-paced fabrication team producing metal components for hydraulic reservoirs, tanks, and structural steel weldments. This role focuses on MIG welding, fabrication, and quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures
- Inspect welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, saws, and measuring tools
Qualifications:
- Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience working with steel components in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to safely operate fabrication tools and equipment
