Job Title: North - Material Handler - C Shift
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: C Shift (Exact hours to be confirmed)
Employment Type: Evaluation Hire (06/15/2026 – 09/25/2026)
Summary:
Join a leading manufacturer of plastic components used in well-known beauty and household products such as Lancôme perfume and Dawn dish soap. As a Material Handler, you will support production through material handling, equipment setup, and maintaining efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain material systems including filters, hoppers, grinders, blenders, bins, and hoses
- Perform material and color changes on molding machines and set up auxiliary equipment
- Monitor, pull, weigh, and replenish colorants, materials, and production supplies
- Transport production from molding to warehouse and maintain proper carton levels at presses
- Troubleshoot material issues, manage scrap, and grind rejected production
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift and handle up to 40 lbs continuously throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Fast learner who can follow directions with minimal supervision
- Steel-toe shoes required; willingness to operate equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
