Job Title: Quality Inspector
City and State: McHenry, IL
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: D Shift – 6:45 PM–7:00 AM, Wednesday–Friday and alternating Saturdays
Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
Our client located in McHenry, IL is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform visual and dimensional inspections of molded components, support quality assurance efforts, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of molded components using gauges and microscopes
- Verify part dimensions, color, and overall appearance
- Conduct periodic scanning of molded components to identify defects
- Accurately and timely complete all required quality documentation
- Identify, isolate, and report nonconforming products
- Support housekeeping to maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assemble and distribute boxes
- Move boxes using a hand truck
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent visual inspection skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts
