Job Title: Maintenance Technician
City and State: Marengo, IL
Pay Rate: $25-35
Schedule/Shift: Onsite, 5 days per week; every other Saturday required; 10–11 hour shifts
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production equipment and facility operations to ensure safety, performance, and minimal downtime. This role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
Conduct preventative maintenance including inspections, lubrication, and part replacement to prevent failures.
Analyze problems using root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
Support ongoing improvements, maintain 5S standards, and assist with equipment installations and upgrades.

Qualifications:

Experience in industrial maintenance including electrical, HVAC, CNC, or laser systems (CO2/Fiber preferred).
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC troubleshooting (ladder logic experience preferred).
Familiarity with Mazak and HAAS CNC machines and coating systems (powder or liquid paint).
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus; relevant certifications are preferred.
