Job Title: MIG Welder – 1st Shift
City and State: Marengo, IL
Pay Rate: Up to $24.26/hour based on experience
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift/5AM-3:30PM w/ OT
Employment Type: Full-Time
Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced MIG Welder. The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, works collaboratively in a team environment, and maintains a positive attitude. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding for mechanical strength in all positions.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Consistently maintain high production output while meeting quality standards.
- Minimize welding defects and rejected work through attention to detail.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of MIG welding experience or recent welding school graduate.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
- Knowledge of welding equipment including MIG, ARC, gas welding, torch cutting, and grinders.
- Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
