Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch
Employment Type: Temporary/Contract
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, assisting with shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring products are picked, packed, and prepared for shipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, including accurate recordkeeping and documentation.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners.
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow up on shipment details and maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a sit-down forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform essential job functions safely.
