Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $38.00/hour + 15% Shift Differential + $1,500 Hiring Bonus
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Employment Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Summary:
Seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to fabricate high-precision machined parts by operating CNC turning and milling centers. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate precision-machined parts by operating CNC turning centers and milling centers according to work orders, routers, and blueprints.
- Set up close-tolerance and conventional equipment by interpreting drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals.
- Perform quality inspections, operational checks, and verify parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Complete required documentation including forms, reports, logs, and production records.
- Follow customer requirements while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of CNC controls, cutting tools, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with employees, departments, and management.
- Safety and quality focused with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
