Job Title: Element Fabricator
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour (2nd Shift receives a 15% shift differential) + $1000 Hired on Bonus
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM

Summary:
As an Element Fabricator, you will support the preparation and fabrication of tubing and components used in heater assemblies for a process heat manufacturing environment. This position involves operating machinery, assembling coils, performing quality inspections, and safely working in physically demanding conditions, including frequent stair climbing and confined space access. Training is provided to ensure success in the role.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload MGO filling machines by accessing multiple flights of stairs and transport materials throughout the production area using lifting equipment as needed.
- Set up and operate fabrication and assembly equipment while preparing tubing, creating required diameters, and assembling components to specification.
- Perform fabrication processes including cutting, deburring, washing, drying, soldering, spot welding, oven processing, and propane torch operations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, documentation, and scrap reporting to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to OSHA and confined space safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift, frequently lift up to 35 lbs., climb multiple flights of stairs daily, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications.
- Experience using measuring instruments and hand tools, including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, drills, pliers, and wrenches.
- Strong math, reading, writing, communication, and measurement skills with the ability to work independently.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred; previous manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience is a plus.
