Job Title: Assembler / Shipper
Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
Seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Assembler / Shipper to assemble small mechanical components, support shipping operations, and maintain an organized work environment. This role requires experience using a variety of tools, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately perform measurements.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble small mechanical and automation components using work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assemblies and verify dimensions.
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and proper operation.
- Package, label, stage, and prepare finished products for shipment, including pallet organization and reinforcement as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or shipping environments preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools, along with the ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic math skills.
- Ability to read basic assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maintain dependable attendance.
