Job Title: MMO I - Crane Operator

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused MMO I - Crane Operator to support material movement and production operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for safely operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead cranes to safely move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products throughout the facility.
- Perform rigging activities and secure loads using proper lifting techniques and procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes, slings, chains, and other lifting equipment before operation.
- Maintain material identification, inventory accuracy, and organized work areas.
- Follow safety procedures and communicate equipment issues, damaged materials, or safety concerns to supervision.
Qualifications:
- Previous overhead crane operation experience preferred.
- Rigging experience and knowledge of safe lifting practices preferred.
- Manufacturing, foundry, steel, or industrial work experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
