Job Title: Material Handler - B Shift
City and State: Crystal Lake, IL
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule/Shift: B Shift | Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday | 6:45 AM to 7:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Summary:
Join a growing manufacturing team as a Material Handler. In this role, you will support production by ensuring materials are available, equipment is clean, and operations run efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain material systems including filters, hoppers, grinders, blenders, bins, and hoses.
- Set up auxiliary equipment and perform color/material changes on molding machines.
- Monitor, pull, weigh, and replenish materials, colorants, and production supplies.
- Move finished production to the warehouse and maintain proper carton supply at presses.
- Troubleshoot material issues, grind rejected product, and manage scrap and waste.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with constant movement.
- Able to lift and handle up to 40 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Fast learner who can follow directions with minimal supervision.
- Steel-toe shoes required; willingness to be trained on equipment including forklifts.
