Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a competitive and relationship-focused Business Developer to join our team at Express Employment Professionals in Evansville, IN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives on achieving sales goals, and is passionate about helping local businesses succeed through staffing solutions.
Pay Rate: Base salary between $40,000–$60,000 per year + commission
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Conduct outbound sales calls, cold calls, and in-person visits to build new client relationships
- Move prospects through the full sales process from initial contact to closing
- Create and deliver customized proposals and presentations to decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
- Represent Express at networking functions, community events, and local business organizations
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline progress in the CRM system
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in staffing, recruiting, or a related service industry
- Proven success in territory management, lead generation, and closing deals
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, organized, and motivated to exceed goals
- Professional demeanor with the ability to represent Express in the community
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
