Job Full Description
Position Summary:
The HVAC Diagnostics Technician will play a key role in the company’s service operations by accurately diagnosing HVAC system issues and providing solutions for customers. This is a front-facing position that involves working with warm leads—customers who have already reached out for service—making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is both technically skilled and service-oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose issues with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
- Communicate findings clearly with customers and recommend solutions
- Provide estimates and present service or replacement options
- Convert diagnostic calls into completed service jobs
- Deliver excellent customer service in a front-facing role
- Work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman HVAC License in Indiana and/or Kentucky
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers and selling services
- Experience estimating HVAC jobs is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
