Material Handler – Multiple Shifts Available
Location:
- Training: 1 week at the Lafayette location
- Permanent Location (starting week of 11/17): Lebanon
Shift Openings:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5 openings)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (4 openings)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4 openings)
Training & Orientation Schedule
- Orientation Day: Monday, November 10
- Training: Tuesday–Friday, week of November 10 | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM | Lafayette, IN
Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Material Handlers to join our growing team in Lebanon, Indiana. This role supports warehouse and production operations by performing material handling, shipping, and inventory control functions using various equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes
- Perform material handling and warehousing functions
- Pick, process, store, and ship materials, parts, and supplies
- Operate automated packaging equipment and support paint line operations
- Perform shipping and receiving duties as assigned
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 35 lbs for intervals of 15–30 minutes
- Push/pull up to 50 lbs for intervals of 10–15 minutes
- Work at heights of up to 30 feet
- Operate order pickers, reach trucks, and/or sit-down forklifts (training provided)
- Climb on/off equipment multiple times per day
- Work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures and moderate noise levels (up to 85 dB)
- Stand, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per day)
- Climb ladders (up to 6 feet) with handrails
- Work overtime as requested
- Complete computer-based training (safety and job-related modules)
