Job Full Description
Job Summary:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related questions and issues from employees via phone, email, or an internal ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software issues (Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Install, configure, and set up new hardware and software for new users and existing employees.
- Assist with user account management, including setting up new user accounts, resetting passwords, and managing access permissions.
- Log all service requests and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system to build the internal knowledge base.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patching of systems and applications.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate senior IT staff or vendors.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and assets.
- Provide clear, step-by-step instructions and guidance to non-technical users to help them resolve minor issues and utilize systems efficiently.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and basic networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Proficiency with various operating systems (Windows 10/11, macOS) and common business applications (Microsoft Office Suite, M365, etc.).
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing software (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) and remote support tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, with a patient and customer-centric approach to support.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
