Job Summary:
Installer/Field Service Technician
- Review all service tickets for routes assigned.
- Ensure all necessary service van inventory is stocked and accounted for.
- Maintain petty cash to cover all refunds and unanticipated developments.
- Complete work order and service ticket for each machine worked on and turned into receipt box each day.
- Turn in all used parts and parts replenishment list to the parts department for replacement after each shift.
- All service keys and lock books are to be deposited in designated area when not in use and will not be left in vehicles or taken home (unless in a remote area).
- Maintain Service Van in a clean and orderly condition at all times.
- Punctuality - Daily attendance is mandatory, which includes being on time and present unless otherwise approved in advance. Stay until designated leave time.
- All other duties as assigned.
Location: West Indianapolis, IN.
Position Type: Contract.
Pay: $19-20
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic mechanical, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills. A technician must have the discipline to work with little supervision and the ability to handle several work orders a day. An installer and service technician must have a valid license. Installers must be able to handle multiple installation stops a day on a schedule.
- Mechanically inclined
- Delivery experience
- Installation experience
- Service technician experience – appliance repair experience preferred
- Clean driving record
