Production Supervisor – Whitestown, IN
A growing powder coating manufacturing facility in the Whitestown, IN area is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with an engineering background who is eager to launch their leadership career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role requires a leader who can motivate, coach, and develop a team from day one, while learning the business and contributing to overall operational success.
Salary: $70,000–$100,000/year
Schedule: Day or Night Shift Available (12 hour shifts)
Hours: 50+ hours per week
Location: Whitestown, IN
Position Type: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise production team members to meet daily output and efficiency goals
- Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and support ongoing development
- Train and cross-train team members to build a flexible, high-performing workforce
- Enforce safety policies and lead by example to maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure quality standards are met and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
- Allocate labor and resources effectively to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) preferred
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and coach a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically active manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work a demanding schedule and grow within the organization
