We are partnering with a growing logistics operation seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support daily transportation operations. This role is highly customer-facing and plays a critical part in ensuring smooth communication between drivers and customers.
Job Summary
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during deliveries
- Communicate with drivers and customers via phone, email, and internal systems
- Coordinate and monitor delivery schedules, delays, and route updates
- Handle real-time issues such as breakdowns, delays, and delivery changes
- Manage multiple systems and applications to track shipments and updates
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Document and communicate updates clearly to internal teams and customers
- Support overall dispatch operations and ensure timely deliveries

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay
$22.00–$23.00/hour
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable with strong work history/tenure
- Comfortable working between phones, email, and multiple systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Preferred:
- Previous dispatch experience
- Call center or high-volume customer service experience
- Experience with dispatch software and electronic logs (E-logs)
- Transportation or logistics background
