We are partnering with a distribution company on the northwest side of Indianapolis seeking a Shipping Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on leadership role working alongside a small team to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Job Summary
- Lead and support a team of 5–6 shipping associates
- Oversee daily shipping operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with loading, packing, and preparing outbound shipments
- Monitor workflow and help prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Train and support team members, providing guidance as needed
- Step in to troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly
- Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Willingness to stay late when needed to complete daily workload

Schedule
Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime as needed
Pay
$19.50–$20.00/hour
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations
- Experience leading or overseeing a small team preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to stay late and support the team as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
