Maintenance Technician – CNC Machine Shop
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and related production equipment in a fast-paced machine shop environment. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and support equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Troubleshoot PLC-controlled machinery as needed

Replace and repair motors, belts, bearings, sensors, and other components

Maintain maintenance logs and document repairs

Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:

Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing or CNC environment preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Basic knowledge of PLC systems is a plus
