Employment Specialist/Client Account Manager

Michelle Hansen joined the team as an Employment Specialist/Client Account Manager at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette, IN in 2026. She brings a well-rounded background in human resources, payroll, and recruiting.

Before entering this role, Michelle worked in HR and payroll, where she supported onboarding, benefits administration, and daily operations. She later gained recruiting experience, giving her a strong understanding of both the administrative and people-focused sides of the hiring process.

In her current role, Michelle focuses on understanding each client’s unique hiring needs and delivering thoughtful, reliable staffing solutions. She takes pride in being responsive, detail-oriented, and building trust with both clients and candidates throughout the process.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys reading, creating art, and spending time with her family.

Kendall Cook-Wright

Front Office Coordinator

Kendall is a Front Office Coordinator at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette, IN. She joined the Express team in May and brings seven years of administrative experience. Before joining Express, she began working as a Freelance Communications Manager, overseeing internal and external communications for small businesses.

In her current role, Kendall is the first point of connection—welcoming clients and associates, keeping the office running smoothly, and making sure everyone feels supported from the moment they walk through the door. She supports not only the associates she serves but her team as well. Kendall especially enjoys helping associates who may feel unsure about starting an assignment or navigating the job search, offering encouragement and helping them see a new perspective.

Outside of work, Kendall enjoys all things crafty—painting, hosting hobby nights with friends, and taking pottery classes at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. She also loves spending time with family and friends. Her favorite guiding scripture is Matthew 6:34: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Mia Blacker

Intake Specialist and Social Media Coordinator

Mia Blacker is an Intake Specialist at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette IN. She joined the Express team in July 2025 and is currently a Junior at Purdue University majoring in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Communications.

In her current role, Mia manages the company’s social media presence, reviews online applications, and coordinates interview scheduling for the team. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and helping them through the hiring process.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching football, and going to the beach. She is the marketing chair of Young Professional in Human Resource Club at Purdue University and is an active member of SALT, a college christian ministry.
