John Bowen is the Payroll and Accounts Receivable Manager for Express Employment in Lafayette and has been a dedicated member of the team for five years. Born and raised in Lafayette, John brings a strong understanding of the community and a commitment to supporting both employees and customers. Known for his reliability and attention to detail, he ensures smooth payroll operations and accurate financial processes across the organization.

Aubrayon Bethea

Entry-Level Industrial Employment Specialist

AuBrayon Bethea is an Entry-Level Industrial Employment Specialist at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette, IN. She joined the team in April 2025, bringing 7+ years of customer relations experience. Before joining Express, she was a Medical Assistant at a pain clinic within Unity Healthcare Network. In this role, she worked closely with patients, physicians, and pharmacists, preventing a disruption in care while managing each relationship with compassion.

In her current role, she is the Onsite Manager for Kirby Risk Service Center. She works closely with HR, supervisors, and the training team to ensure the needs of the service center are met. This unique ability to provide exceptional customer relations allows her to match great people with great opportunities within Kirby Risk Service Center and other Entry Level Industrial Warehouses.

She especially enjoys her weekly walk-through of the facility. It reminds her of the bigger picture, compassion is free, therefore be the good Samaritan you need. Outside of work, AuBrayon, known for her smile and bubbly personality, serves as an Usher and Small Group Leader at her church.

Amaya Hunter

Account Manager

Amaya Hunter is an account manager at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette IN. She recently  joined the Express team this year in November and has 7 years of experience in Administrative Support Specialist. Before joining Express, she took on the role of being an Eligibility Specialist and attended Ross Medical Education to receive her Medical Assistants license and CNA License.

In her current role, Amaya for example: works closely with job seekers and local businesses to match great people with great opportunities.She especially enjoys helping people find meaningful work. Outside of work, Amaya enjoys shopping, spending time with her kids, and singing as she is a part of Beyond Praise traveling singing group.

Kendall Cook-Wright

Front Office Coordinator

Kendall is a Front Office Coordinator at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette, IN. She joined the Express team in May and brings seven years of administrative experience. Before joining Express, she began working as a Freelance Communications Manager, overseeing internal and external communications for small businesses.

In her current role, Kendall is the first point of connection—welcoming clients and associates, keeping the office running smoothly, and making sure everyone feels supported from the moment they walk through the door. She supports not only the associates she serves but her team as well. Kendall especially enjoys helping associates who may feel unsure about starting an assignment or navigating the job search, offering encouragement and helping them see a new perspective.

Outside of work, Kendall enjoys all things crafty—painting, hosting hobby nights with friends, and taking pottery classes at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. She also loves spending time with family and friends. Her favorite guiding scripture is Matthew 6:34: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

Mia Blacker

Intake Specialist and Social Media Coordinator

Mia Blacker is an Intake Specialist at Express Employment Professionals of Lafayette IN. She joined the Express team in July 2025 and is currently a Junior at Purdue University majoring in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Communications.

In her current role, Mia manages the company’s social media presence, reviews online applications, and coordinates interview scheduling for the team. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new people and helping them through the hiring process.

Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, watching football, and going to the beach. She is the marketing chair of Young Professional in Human Resource Club at Purdue University and is an active member of SALT, a college christian ministry.
