We are seeking a skilled welder for an area manufacturing facility, responsible for constructing various products with a primary focus on welding and fabrication techniques.
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $20/hour and up, based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Identify materials and choose welding methods.
- Prepare and fit materials using tools.
- Weld within specified parameters, following engineering callouts.
- Clean and inspect welds for quality.
Core Duties:
- Operate equipment with precision.
- Read blueprints and drawings, plan layout.
- Set up components and use grinders.
- Align and weld components in various positions.
- Ensure welds meet ASME specifications.
Requirements:
- Steady hand, attention to detail.
- Knowledge of metal types and properties.
- Proven welding experience.
- Familiar with electrical/manual tools.
- Ability to read technical documents.
- Safety standards adherence.
- Minimum one year of welding experience.
- Must pass on-site welding test.
