Schedule(Off every other Friday)
Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Laboratory Technician for a company in West Lafayette. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys hands-on lab work and wants to gain valuable experience in a quality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing (microbiological, chemical, physical, and mechanical) following written procedures

Accurately document and maintain testing records and data

Identify and segregate non-conforming products

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment

Report any deviations or issues to the supervisor promptly
-
Assist with ordering and maintaining lab supplies and equipment
-
Perform data entry and other computer-based tasks
-
Support additional quality and laboratory functions as needed
Qualifications
-
Associate degree in a science-related field OR 2–3 years of lab, quality assurance, or inspection experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, or similar industry preferred)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions

Basic math and measurement skills

Comfortable with computers and data entry

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organization and multitasking abilities
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

Ability to work in a lab and office environment

Willingness to work with materials derived from animal tissue
