Engineering Technician - Inspector – 2nd or 3rd Shift
Lebanon, IN | $23/hr ($25/hr once hired on)
Are you mechanically minded, detail-oriented, and ready to work with cutting-edge engine parts? We’re hiring Engineering Technicians/Inspectors for a growing company in Lebanon, Indiana. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality and precision in the production of engine components.
Shift Options:
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Pay:
- $23/hr to start
- Increases to $25/hr upon hire
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect a variety of engine parts, brackets, and components for accuracy and quality
- Use hand tools and measurement instruments to perform precise checks
- Enter and track inspection data using Microsoft Access and Excel
- Review and interpret blueprints to confirm specifications
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to maintain high standards
- Work primarily at a desk with some movement throughout the shift
What You’ll Need:
- Strong math and measurement skills
- Experience using hand tools and precision instruments
- Ability to read blueprints (must pass a blueprint test)
- Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
- Background in engineering, mechanical work, or maintenance technology preferred
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Some engineering schooling or related experience
