Production Floor Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our DO Production team in a variety of Production Floor roles. Team members will be cross-trained across multiple functions and must be open to learning all areas of production, including processing, frying, and packaging operations.
This role requires physical stamina, attention to quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment.
Production Floor Roles
- · Bag Inspector – Ensures integrity of bag seals and verifies date codes after product is formed and filled
- · Block Opening – Removes block envelopes from fish blocks to keep pace with the production line
- · Culler / Inspector – Inspects and removes fish rejects during portion or stick production
- · Cutter – Fills cutter pockets with product
- · Trim Collection – Collects, measures, and records rejects based on quality requirements
- · Palletizer – Hand-stacks finished product onto pallets
- · Batter / Breader – Maintains proper operating levels for batter and breader applicators
Qualifications
- · Ability to perform Level 3 Operations positions
- · Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- · Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
- · Proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures (as applicable)
- · Ability to collaborate positively across all departments and levels
- · Understanding of standards, measurements, and basic math
- · Basic computer skills
- · Reliable and consistent attendance
- · Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (after training, if required)
- · Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- · Ability to stand for up to 10 hours
- · Compliance with company GMP and PPE policies
- · Ability to perform other duties as assigned
Pay & Growth
$20.00/hour starting rate
$21.00/hour upon transition to 2nd shift
+$1.00/hour upon hire-on
Additional Increases After Hire:
$0.25 at 3 months
$0.25 at 6 months
$1.00 at 1 year
Schedule
1st Shift (Training through March):
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
2nd Shift (Permanent Shift After March):
Monday – Thursday
4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
