3rd Shift – Packager (Frozen Lines) (105)
A local Bonner Springs, KS bakery is looking to add a Frozen Lines Packager to their growing team! This is an evaluation hire (potential direct placement for the right candidate), with room for advancement and growth opportunities.
SHIFT: Sun – Wed 8:30pm – 7:00am
PAY: $17.75/hr
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Operates various processing or packaging equipment.
- Stacks boxes of product on pallet plus positioning pallet.
- Rotates between stations and assists in other departments or areas as necessary when directed by supervisor.
- Operates wrap machine, palletizers, box machines, and other production equipment.
- Ensures proper materials are being used and documented with accuracy (ex: label inserts, paper, pails, and fillings.).
- Ensure proper disposal of product rejected by metal detector and document occurrences.
- Properly assemble/ disassemble materials and equipment for changeovers.
Skills Required
- Ability to read, speak and write English
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with food safety regulations strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs./pounds manually.
- Frequently required to sit and walk.
- Regularly required to stand.
- Occasionally required to stoop, crouch or kneel.
- Occasionally required to climb, reach with hands and arms, and work at a computer
