Job Title: Packer (WLK051)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 12-hour shifts | Rotating schedule (3 days on / 4 days off, then switch)

Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packers for a production facility in Kansas City, KS. This role is responsible for monitoring automated equipment and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Inspect products to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications

Follow all safety, quality, and stacking procedures

Trim excess material and remove defects using hand tools

Perform flame splay as needed

Stack, bundle, and palletize finished products

Work closely with production teams to meet daily output goals

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Skills & Qualifications

Ability to visually inspect products and identify defects

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

Basic problem-solving skills to identify and address production issues

Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

No prior experience required – training provided

No minimum education requirement

Must be able to read and write in English

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods of time

Perform repetitive motions

Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Use hands and arms for handling materials

Ability to climb stairs or ladders as needed

Must wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, ear protection)
