Warehouse Associate
Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay: $18.00 – $19.00/HR
Schedule: Monday–Friday (early mornings)
Type: Temp-to-Perm
A growing distribution company is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support daily operations. This role includes a mix of picking, packing, shipping, customer service, and forklift operation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship orders (UPS & LTL)
- Load/unload product and move inventory (forklift required)
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
- Handle shipping documents and order tracking
- Assist customers and communicate order details
- Support internal teams with incoming orders
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse experience
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to bend, lift, and stay active throughout the shift
