Diesel Mechanic - Full time
$20 - $30+ / hour
Carencro, LA
We are hiring a full-time skilled Diesel Mechanic that has experience working on 18 wheelers. The ideal candidate will have strong diesel engine repair skills.
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Pay: $20 - $30+ / hour
Responsibilities:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines on heavy-duty trucks

Perform routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems

Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards

Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues

Replace or repair worn or damaged parts (tires, axles, fuel systems, etc.)

Maintain service records and report maintenance needs

Ensure all repairs meet industry and company standards for large commercial vehicles
