Accounting/Customer Service Rep
$14-18+ / Hour DOE
New Iberia Area
We are hiring a friendly Accounting/Customer Service Rep to join a local tax service. They are looking for someone with tax return knowledge, a finance background, and a desire to learn bookkeeping.
Responsibilities:

Greet clients in person and by phone in a professional, friendly manner

Answer, screen, and direct calls; take accurate messages

Schedule and confirm client appointments

Maintain client files and ensure documents are complete before appointments

Receive, date-stamp, and organize incoming tax documents

Assist with preparation and review of tax returns (knowledge of tax returns a strong plus)

Perform basic bookkeeping duties including data entry, account reconciliations, and tracking expenses

Generate and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets as directed

Support accountants with month-end and year-end closing tasks

Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all financial records
Schedule:
- 8a-5p Mon-Fri.
- Saturdays 8a-12p ONLY during tax season Jan. 15- April 15th with overtime pay
