Plumber
Lafayette, LA | Full-Time| ($55–$75/hr.)
We’re hiring experience Plumber looking for a new start and Plumbers who are close to full licensing, ready to take the next step
Duties
- Respond to plumbing and drain cleaning service calls (including on-call rotation)
- Diagnose issues and recommend solutions to customers
- Perform drain cleaning and plumbing repairs on-site
- Educate customers on services, maintenance plans, and warranties
- Build rapport to drive repeat business and referrals
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a well-stocked service truck
- Train and mentor apprentices
- Prepare estimates and complete service documentation
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and compliant with codes
- Coordinate with dispatch and customer service teams
Requirements
- If you’ve logged the required hours but haven’t completed testing yet, our client is willing to advance the cost to help you get licensed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High level of organization and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Schedule
- Full-time
- On-call rotation required
Pay
- $55–$75 per hour (based on experience)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in various environments (heat, cold, confined spaces, heights)
- Use of required PPE (hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
