Residential Painter / Painter Helper
Lafayette, LA | $15.00/hr. DOE | Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable Residential Painter / Painter Helper to assist with interior and exterior residential painting projects. The ideal candidate has previous painting experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently while maintaining a clean and professional job site.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for painting by patching, sanding, caulking, masking, and priming

Paint interior and exterior residential surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinets
-
Assist with moving and protecting furniture and flooring
-
Operate brushes, rollers, ladders, and paint sprayers safely and effectively
-
Perform drywall repairs and touch-ups as needed
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Deliver high-quality finishes with attention to detail
Requirements:
-
Previous residential painting experience required
-
Experience preparing rooms for painting, including masking, moving furniture, patching holes, sanding, caulking, and priming
-
Experience painting interior and/or exterior residential surfaces, including walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, and siding
-
Ability to use brushes, rollers, ladders, and paint sprayers
-
Experience with drywall repairs, patching, caulking, and texture touch-ups preferred
-
Ability to produce clean lines and high-quality finishes
-
Comfortable working inside occupied homes & maintaining a clean work area

Must be able to discuss recent residential painting projects and responsibilities performed

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic required
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay:
- Starting at $15.00/hour DOE
