Industrial Blaster/Painter
| New Iberia, LA | $20–$23/hr. | Full-Time
Seeking an experienced Industrial Blaster/Painter in the New Iberia area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, masking, and abrasive sandblasting.
- Independently operate a blasting pot and industrial blasting equipment.
- Apply industrial primers, paints, and protective coatings.
- Inspect finished work for quality and coating thickness.
- Read work orders and coating specifications.
- Maintain equipment, work area, and follow all safety/PPE requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with abrasive blasting and industrial painting/coatings.
- Ability to safely operate blasting equipment.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial painting techniques.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the worksite and be available to start immediately.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch. Some Saturdays may be required until noon.
Pay:
- $20–$23 per hour, based on experience.
