Shop Assistant
| Lafayette, LA | $15–$18/Hr. | Full-time
Position Summary
We're hiring Shop Helpers to assist with hose assembly, picking orders, and shipping and receiving in a busy shop environment. This is a great long-term opportunity with room for growth and advancement.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assemble hoses
-
Pick and prepare items for orders
-
Assist with shipping and receiving
-
Pull and organize parts
-
Read a tape measure and perform basic math
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Assist with general shop duties
Requirements:
-
Warehouse experience preferred
-
Forklift experience preferred
-
Basic welding knowledge is a plus, but not required
-
Ability to read a tape measure
-
Valid driver’s license required
-
Reliable and willing to learn
-
Able to work in a non-climate-controlled shop
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay:
- Starting Pay: $15–$18/Hr.
Pay increase available once hired on permanently
